I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. I started before I could properly spell, and somehow I never really stopped.
I'm a Norwegian writer living in rainy Bergen, where I spend my days teaching and my free time creating stories, drinking too many iced lattes and trying to convince my two cats that they actually do want to sit on my lap.
My debut novel, Seven, was born in 2024 while I was traveling alone through the United States in my old Jeep. These days, I've traded some of the contemporary romance for something much closer to the stories I grew up loving: pirate adventures, magic, romance, mystery, and a little bit of the impossible. Think Outlander meets Pirates of the Caribbean, with a touch of Once Upon a Time.
I'm a sucker for a good Hans Zimmer soundtrack, early-2000s TV shows, and stories that make you want to disappear into another world. Outlander, Once Upon a Time, and The Vampire Diaries are among my all-time favorites.
If a story has romance, adventure, a little magic, and characters who are in way over their heads, there's a very good chance I'm going to love it.
And there's an even better chance I'm going to try to write it.
